Description:
Cotopaxi is the loftiest volcano known to be in activity. According to Mr. Whymper's observations its height is 19,600 feet, and it has a crater 2,000 feet in diameter. The view is taken near the farm of Rosario, at 10,350 feet above the level of the sea.
