Description:
Two special panchromatic plates are exposed simultaneously or in quick succession through red and green screens respectively. The plates are developed and fixed in the usual way, and are then bleached and dyed, the "red" plate in a green dye, and the "green" plate in a red dye. The plates are then bound up in register, with the result shown. The original pair of negatives may be preserved unaltered if desired, in which case reproduced negatives are made in the usual way, the finished Kodachrome picture being secured by bleaching and dyeing these as described.
The process was described in The Photographic Journal for April, 1915.
