Description:
These are made on Paget plates. They were copied by the light of an inverted gas mantle placed about 12 inches from one side of the picture and transferred to the other side at half time. A specially adjusted blue filter was used and the exposure at f/8 was five minutes. The masking is done with photopake, and transparency and screen are attached at each corner by a spot of seccotine to prevent loss of register by side strains.
