- In the centre is Red Tarn surrounded by the Striding Edge on left, Helvellyn behind and the Swirrel Edge and Catchedicam on right. On the extreme left of picture is Grisdale surrounded by St. Sunday Crag, Fairfield, Grisdale Pass and Dollywaggon and Nethermost Pikes. The right end of the picture shows Glenridding in sunshine, then Place Fell, and between and in the distance is Ullswater. On the extreme right are the near slopes of St. Sunday Crag with High Street in the distance.
