- The stages are illustrated, which have led up to the current fashion, consisting of a steel plate printing upon the basis of a yellow tint. It is shown how photography, as at present known, renders this form of work easily copyable even by the average amateur photographer. In contradistinction to this class of work new systems of imparting security are exhibited, suitable for bank notes, bonds and letters of credit.
