Description:
from the Hypogeum Hal Saflieni in Malta photographed by flashlight. This subterranean structure is of large size is entirely carved from solid rock. The doorway shown was cut out entirely by chert and flint tools during the later Stone Age, and is probably not less than 5,000 years old.
