Description:
illustrating the insecurity of intaglio plate printing for monetary documents. A postage stamp is reproduced by the exceedingly simple process for which the R.P.S. medal was awarded last year, together with photomicrographs demonstrating the absolute identity of the reproduction. A tablet of mixed genuine and counterfeit stamps is given, and visitors are invited to distinguish between them.
