Description:
Owing to heavy clouds and mist the early stage of the eclipse, which commenced at 10.52 a.m., was not visible, but later the following exposures were made: --(1) 11.57 a.m., shadow well advanced; (2) 12.8 p.m., maximum; (3) 12.30 p.m., receding. also (4) 12.40 p.m. ; (5) 12.55 p.m., ; (6) 1.15 p.m., nearly off. Brilliant sunshine and quite clear about 1.35 p.m. Lens used at f/32, light yellow screen, Orthochromatic Plates, speed 225. Exposure 1/10th second.
