Description:
The Photographs are interesting because they show: -
(1) The resolving power of gratings.
(2) The extreme complication of the structure of band spectra.
(3) The possibility of photographing weak band spectra.
(4) The structure of several bands.
(5) The difference of structure of the bands of the positive column in nitrogen, comparing alternating current with steady current.
