- A Russian passport having been “acquired,” the original writing was removed by treatment with chemical and a new name written in. The original writing was absolutely invisible; but photographic analysis made this so clear that it was easy to reconstruct it. The passport was originally issued to “Itta Stockmann.” The numbers on page C are those of the original test.
