- Description:
- This enlarger is designed for general work and especially for correcting inclined lines (i.e. where the camera has been tilted either intentionally or otherwise). The principle adopted is that of the swing back, which is embodied in the carrier stage, into which is fitted the negative holder.
The negative holder is fitted with a revolving disc carrying the adaptors for negatives of various sizes. By using the revolving disc no reversing of the adaptor is required, as the negative can be turned from the vertical to horizontal or any intermediate angle.
The negative can be brought either close to the condenser, or away from it, as may be desirable.
Built on a base board carrying the whole of the moveable parts, the apparatus is very rigid and devoid of vibration. Any good light may be used, the best being the electric arc. A Beard's hand-feed lamp is fitted on the lantern, which takes negatives up to whole-plate size. - Exhibit type:
