- Description:
- 50 c.c. of the raw sewage were centrifugalised and a microscopic preparation made of the deposit. This was washed in acid, then in water, and finally stained with methylene blue. It shows zoogloea-like masses of cocci and chains of cocci (streptococci); x 1,000.
