Shot by MacDonald Barkley, Esq., on the Pungué River, South-East Africa, and described in the "Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London," Feb. 6, 1894
The length of the scarce pair of lyrate horns (Fig. I.) along the curve is 27½ inches being well above the average of the usual full-grown bull.
