Description:
Features - 1. A new and simplified hinged form of mounting given to the finder, whereby it may be held in two positions substantially at right angles to one another, so that the operator may look down into it when the camera on which it is mounted is in a vertical and also when in a horizontal position.
2. The particular construction of the bracket on which is mounted the lens support. This bracket is composed of a single piece of sheet metal formed with side flanges grooved to engage with the track plate on which the lens support travels. Locking plates are mounted on the bracket to automatically retain it by engagement with the track plate at any focussing position to which it is drawn out.
3. The two supports on the front door of the camera, whereby it may be supported either in a vertical or in a horizontal position. One support is in the form of a hinged leg, which by means of a spring can either be held out substantially at right angles to the door, or flush with the same. The other support is an extensible pin mounted transversely on the door, and capable of being held by means of a spring in an extended or in a retracted position.
4. Loops to which a carrying handle is attached, formed on the plates through which the film-spool centreing devices operate.
5. Other simplified devices which have also been used in other preceding Kodaks.
