- Taken with occulting shutter. Twenty exposures of about 1/100th sec. each. Exposure 20 secs. for companion stars. Enlarged 10 times from original negative, taken 1899, November 10, with Thompson 26 inch Photographic Refractor. Aperture 26 inches. Focal length 22½ feet. Observer D.E. The diffused image round the shutter is due to the secondary spectrum.
