Exhibit title:
Cadett Light Filters
Exhibitor:
E. Sanger Shepherd
Section:
Apparatus
Exhibit No.:
394
Description:
These comprise three square and two circular light filters for ortho-chromatic work on the Cadett spectrum plate. The filters are the outcome of a series of experiments, part of the result of which the exhibitor has shown at previous exhibitions here during the past four years. Used with the Cadett spectrum plate, they yield negatives with opacities directly proportional to the luminosities of the colours of the object photographed. The filters are each separately adjusted on the latest improved form of Captain Abney's colour sensitometer.
