Exhibit No.:

Description:
This camera is designed for very rapid work, and is specially suited for the animal studies with which the name of the designer has been so much identified, and other long distance work. It is fitted with a Thornton-Pickard focal-plane shutter with speed indicator, and can be used with dark slide, changing box or roll holder. There is a full-sized finder, which is used alike for vertical or horizontal pictures, the alteration being made by a reversing back and not by tuning the camera. The focussing mirror is fixed immediately in front of the shutter, and the image is seen up to the instant before exposure, the pressure of a discharger at the side of the camera releasing the mirror, which rises to the top of the camera, allowing the shutter to be brought into play. A time shutter may be employed on the front of the lens. Lenses of long focus only can be used, enabling large images of distant animals, &c., to be obtained without disturbing them by a near approach. One lens only is required. There is a rising front, and focussing is effected by a rack and pinion.
