Exhibition:
1899 Forty-fourth Annual Exhibition of the Royal Photographic Society
Exhibit title:
Lloyd's Rotary Trimmer
Exhibitor:
G. Houghton & Son
Section:
Apparatus
Exhibit No.:
378
Description:
It is claimed that the method followed in the construction of this trimmer overcomes any possibility for the print to buckle, and gives a clean and true edge. At right-angles to the cutting edge there is a rule against which the print is squared, with its ragged edge extending under a pressure plate, which keeps the print quite firm while the cutting wheel is moved along. The illustration will better explain the working of the device.
