- This is a quarter-plate Frena on the lines of that previously exhibited, the point of difference being that the present form is fitted with a Beck single achromatic lens in place of the rapid rectilinear. The finders are of the brilliant pattern, but it is claimed for those on this instrument that the area of view seen in the finder does not alter as the position of the eye changes. The following are some of the data in connection with the camera: - Lens: 5½-in. Beck achromatic single lens; aperture: f/11, diaphragms f/16, f/22, f/64; focus: fixed range, horizon to 20 ft. (Frena magnifiers may be added for objects as near as 9 inches); size of film: 4¼ x 3¼; size of picture: 4¼ x 3; full charge: 2 packs containing 40 films; speed of shutter: 1/5, 1/10, 1/20, 1/40, 1/50 of a second and time exposures; indicator showing number of films used; swing back, which can be used about 20° with smallest stop; two "Brilliant stationary" finders for both vertical and horizontal pictures; two tripod sockets and attachment screw; dimensions: 12 in. x 5¾ in. x 4 3/8 in.; weight, charged with 40 films, 4 lbs.
