- This is an improved form of the acetylene generator described and figured in last year's exhibition catalogue. The improvements consist of a cone and connection added to gas-holding chamber, the use of which prevents any dangerous admixture of acetylene gas and air; of a safety outlet, allowing any surplus gas (if made) to be conducted by means of a flexible tube into the open air.
