- Description:
- This camera is on the twin lens principle, the finder representing the subject full-size. To secure this, the space between the lens and the top of the camera in the usual patterns is utilised to contain a mirror, the top of the camera carrying the ground glass. This is shielded by a leather hood, provided with springs so that the act of extending the camera by turning the pinion brings the finder ready for use. The camera is provided with a Thornton-Pickard shutter and an iris diaphragm which can be regulated from the outside, and is fitted with a level. The lenses are rapid rectilinears by Beck, the size of the 5 x 4 camera being 6 1/8 x 5 3/8 x 6 5/8 inches when closed.
