Description:
This pattern camera is an elaboration of the quarter-plate size bearing the same name. The magnifiers for enabling nearer objects to be focussed without moving the lens are, in this case, arranged on a vulcanite revolving disc by means of which a blank space or any one of the four magnifiers as desired may be brought in front of the lens, or it may be completely obscured. The disc is graduated to read the distances between which objects will be sharply focussed. This camera is provided with a 6½-inch Autograph rapid rectilinear, working at f/8, with stops for f/11, f/16, f/22 and f/64, and four magnifiers. This shutter gives speed of 1/5, 1/10, 1/20, 1/40, 1/80 second, and time exposures. The complete camera, charged with 40 films, weighs 5½ pounds, and measures 12½ x 6½ x 5½ inches. Price, with 40 films.
